This might sound dumb to you guys but according to the rendering, isn't the base/cross-section suppose to be triangular? Its rectangular now.

Here's a quick reference to SWFC's progression. These were all taken this month (July) from the same vantage point with the bottom 2 taken about a week ago:

Early July




Last Week:




The change in height, while not extreme, is clearly noticable. Especially if you compare it to the antenna on the building to the (our) right. The difference between the top and bottom pics is about 10 days.

wow... SWFC is massive compared to Jin Mao... well I knew it was massive but its just a lot more dominating than I expected!

You know what I actually like the squarish hole more than the circular one, I think it matches the building better.

It's a square/rectangle, two opposing corners of which taper in to form a diagonal line one corner to the other by the peak. If that makes any sense..
