You know what pisses me off?

Every city around the world nowadays is getting some great and impressive buildings built. There's a worldwide boom and so many buildings with bold, new and innovative designs are popping up everywhere. Here are some pics I took yesterday of how we're profiting from this boom aswell.

And BTW, the architect has won an award for designing these beauties.

Aren't cities over there charming without tall buildings? I associate "highrise" with USA, but nothing really innovative is coming out of here, it seems like alot of US designers are doing so for the Middle East and Asia. Well thats a pretty cool telephone pole anyways!

lol...come on, they are not THAT ugly...
They just seem to lack of inspiration...that's all.
Not all cities must become Dubai,NY look alikes.
Low rises can be really nice!

Well look on the bright side: U2 has proposed building a 30+ story skyscraper in Dublin. They'll have a recording studio on the top floor.

I think those cell blocks look quite nice - I'm sure the inmates will appreciate the modern amenities and attention to detail! Obviously, no expense was spared (except perhaps the architect's fee . . .).

My condolences . . .
