Hong Kong's Glassy Skyscrapers

Time for a compilation thread. This time, it's all about Hong Kong's glassy skyscrapers from my own photo collection :

There are also a number of threads out there that track skyscrapers that people don't typically see. Here are some links :

Great collection. There are a lot of glass skyscrapers, but they all look quite unique, unlike Vancouver's.

The humidity is a major factor, since dew builds up very quickly on those tiled surfaces, and add street-level pollution from vehicles, and the dirt sticks. Hence Hong Kong's tiled buildings age rather quickly.

IFC2 is simply the most beautiful, graceful, seductive skyscraper ever built. I can't explain what it is about it, but it would be no bad thing to see more of this quality!

Not necessarily. hkyskyline already mentioned the humid, tropical weather as the cause of accelerated aging.

A flat in the midlevels can cost you more than a multi bedroom house in North America.

I will take a flat in the heart of a thriving city over a mansion in Wichita any day!

These are much better than the not so glassy towers in the other thread you produced. Yes, plenty of beautiful distractions.
