I think that when the shard is done and when 20fs, bgt, 122L and maybe 100bg and heron plaza , the skyline should stop because it will look amazing!!

Question/s to any resident expert....
1, I assume the concrete bucket can be used for the core (in photos)? 2, The fact that the pump is back on the floor and they're using a bucket indicate that there could be a problem with the pump? 3, Final one promise... is a bucket slower at building the core than a pump? 2. Not sure. 3. Yes, pouring by skip is a lot slower! It will take 7 lifts of the skip to empty a large (8m3) concrete wagon - 1 hour isn't unreasonable. The same wagon could be pumped in 10 minutes. With the quanity of concrete required for the core, you could run into problems with cold joints from concrete setting mid pour. |

As bestbud says the use of a concrete skip is slow, and would not be fast enough to use at height. It is not the pump that is back down on the deck it is the concrete placement boom, the pump is sited at ground level at the concrete delivery point. Some while back before I signed up to the Forum there was a post about a clash with this boom and one of the cranes. It is rather odd that this boom is lifted down before every jump. I have not seen a pic posted that shows the boom on the jump form from above, ie from T42 or Aviva ect. |

I managed to photo some steel being delivered in the week and assumed it was leadenhall. I'm not so sure any thoughts? Look on the left of the truck and then the brackets that have been recently bolted on..
