I was told from a source that the foundation piles having no weight on them and the London clay could push them upwards. I guess they have to start fairly soon if this is a real issue.

Indeed. I dont usually quote wiki but i was propelled into it by pure desperation for any news. Perhaps my subconscious is to blame here... Depriving me of the common sense to question the plausibility of the source, and instead, in unwarranted excitability, re-posting was is most likely, bogus information. For this I apologise.
