Do Cambodia and Laos have closer relationship with Thailand or Vietnam?

Both Laos and Cambodia are culturally ralated to Thailand much more than Vietnam.

Thai and Lao people are in the same group. Our language are almost the same.
Thai and Khmer culture are very similar.

Politically and Economically, I don't know.

What's the point of this topic???

Culturally they are much closer to Thailand but since the communist era Vietnam has a large political influence.

Also I guess these days there are more Vietnamese living in those countries than Thais.

you can know Khome's cultural in southen of VN relate to campodian
