very nice to see you posting again carlos. And this tower is shaping up really good. One question, does anyone know why they cut the glass for the suports of the tower crane instead of just leaving those panels off, thats bugged me on a few other towers where that happens.... and i am now im a lil like a lost puppy on the subject.

Thanks to all those who missed me...., YES I AM BACK... I was away in beautiful South Beach Florida...for 4 weeks..I needed to get away from this madness..

To answer your question above....I think the reason they do not leave empty panels of glass (where the crane is anchored) is because otherwise the workers (inside the tower, working on interior walls, etc) would be exposed to the elements cold weather, rain or snow. The heat or AC wouldn't work.

Each whole floor pane of glass, is actually made up for 3 peices. If you look very closely you will see the lines that divide the pane. Its very slight, but the glass wasnt cut at all, its just like that, they just omited the top peice of the pane.

Cool pics spooks. You always "give good pic" lol

BTW Does anyone know what building that one is that is not so high (maybe 25 floors), has a rounded facade, a tube-like structure on top, white and towards the front of the 2nd pic in front of the Grace Building? I've never noticed it before.
