New Yorkers like tall floors in order to compensate for their claustrophobic apartments.

As much as I love BOA and the Freedom Tower, one must admit these NYC projects are nothing compared to the things going on in Dubai, HK and Shanghai. Those buildings are drop dead amazing. Sorry about that, back to the BOA!

Gee, they (BoA & Freedom) aren't even built yet. Doncha just love forumers that judge purely & finally on the renders!? Even something like cladding can make or break a building, so wait until they are well on their way to being built @ least.

Speaking of the renders, the ones for this look great. BoA seems like it will be a wonderful example of a fractal skyscraper. We see a lot of fractal public buildings like Gehry's museums but there are few fractal scrapers being built. I hope it turns out as good as or even better than the renders.

BTW Glass has arrived on site, so can't wait to see pics of it on the structure from our trusty NYC correspondents.
