All of the residential buildings in this city are made of concrete. This building has a concrete core (which lags behind the steel). And yes concrete is stronger than steel, but not as felxible in the sense of you can connect offices together in a steel construction than a concrete construction (interoffice stairs etc).

that leaves about 20 floors to go.

the floor size gets smaller as you get higher as well.

this building has a crown. floors dont go to the very top.

where the building is now, just above the interchem building to the north, and to the roof, thats almost 20 floors.

What is the Verizon reclad actually gonna look like? I can't find any threads about it. The combination of both will make the area feel a lot newer.

this render makes the building look small. If the verizon building is 650 ft tall and the roof of this is almost 850 ft with the facade extension at 915 ft. why does it look like it is only 100 ft. taller than the roof of the verizon. the renders are old a few months ago the hight of the roof was raised 50 ft. the hight is still the same but it is taller to the roof. here are some photos posted on SSP by nygirl, they are poor but it showes what it should look like.
