Yes sock.

Conde Nast will only be 247m/809ft to 1 Bryant Park's 366m/1200ft, both to tip of their spires.

Having said that though, according to http://skyscraperpage.com. Conde Nast's antenna atop its spire reaches 341m/1119ft, which still isn't as tall as One Bryant Park's tip of spire.

Thanks New Jack City for the last shot. Looks like they're building the the steel framework for the above-roof plant level/LMR (Lift Motor Room).

...

Conde Nast isn't 804 to the tip of it's spire. It's 1,100 something ft.

Did you read my last reply properly nygal? I mentioned in it that "Conde Nast's antenna atop its spire reaches 341m/1119ft".

The cladding is awful, and I was really looking forward to this

It looks as if it was built in the 70s/80s

I agree. It looks like 70s/80s building as well but got cropped too. I wonder why they chose this facade? Why not they just get the plain darker color facades instead?

This building was inspired by the NY Crystal Palace that once stood at Bryant Park in 1853 !!! before it burned down to the ground!!!

Please elaborate. Bofa Tower design has nothing similar to New York Crystal Palace design.

I know that. I STILL haven't seen anything that is "inspired" by New York Crystal Palace for Bofa Tower.

Look I know some of you don't like the class but it is nothing like 70s/80s building, it just has that appearance in pictures. If you see it in person the glass is quite nice and of very high quality it just is not as refective as others, but that really is not a big deal because there is nothing around there you would want to reflect.

I agree. The shape of this building is spectacular IMO, but the cladding has so many lines and is so "busy", that it makes it hard to distinguish where the edges are and thus makes the shape less noticeable. The shape is the main attraction but regretably the facade has become a distraction.

Just out of curiousity, does anyone have an idea of how the building will be lit at night?

And thanks for the pics Carlos!
