Awesome presence. Still can't stand the antenna on Conde-Nast.

As much as I dislike the antenna on Conde-Nast, it really looked incomplete when it did not have it.

It's weird how incomplete and ugly Conde Nast looked without it's antenna. It looks a million times better with it. Even though it's sad that it took 9/11 to make it look good.

(For those who didn't know, the antenna on Conde Nast was installed to replace the antenna on the North Tower of the WTC.)

After looking at the Conde-Nast antenna I change my mind again and say it does look beautiful and helps finish the building. (this is like the 4th time ive changed my mind -_-).

The design of BofA Tower reminds me a bit of Almas Tower in Dubai. Both of them are about the same overall height (366m vs 360m) and the same stage of construction by finishing the roofs (Almas using concrete, not steel). It's a nice race from the distance: Almas has been ahead for a while, cracking the "supertall-limit" on September the 18th, but actually BofA is catching up as the spire is rising.

But I wonder where the wind turbine that Culwulla has mentionned in #1209 will be placed. I've never seen it in a rendering. Would be great if it was implemented. Generally, the ecological style of many new skyscrapers in NYC (in contrast to Dubai) is a good exemple for the world IMO.

people will appreciate Conde Nast more now since it has the NY times and Bank of america to blend it in more. it used to stick out, now it blends into midtown nicely.

that last skyline pic of midtown is stunning- imagine, thats only half of NY skyline. imagine a night shot of both skylines, with the new WTC in downtown..damm

I know....that'll be amazing!! Just think if the midown towers end up getting approved as well. I know they're supposedly cancelled right now but you never know. The skyline in the future is gonna be incredible. NYC will eventually reclaim itself as the skyscraper king. It's just gonna take some time.
