Construction almost finished, just 6-7 floors need to be cladded and some interior work needs to be done, and that's it.

In real life it looks better than in the pictures. Believe me.

I am in line with Marco Polo.

Personally, I do not like the colour of the cladding, then I think the green clad doesn't fit well there, especially considering the lighter colours of the BofA tower.

the verizon building is short and boxy... would be hard to make it stand out with a "normal" color facade..
i think the green looks nice

Well, the color is unique and gives the tower a unique presence @ Bryant Park.

Can I just say that I HATE the Conde Nast building? A lot? Its "crown" looks like an unfinished mess, and its garish presence detracts greatly from the very graceful resolution that the crown of BofA possesses.

...just the uninformed two cents of a newly-minted New York resident.

From my understanding the spire that was lost on 9/11 from #1 WTC was erected on the Conde Nast Building for communications purposes.

When the Freedom Tower is complete, the temporary spire on the Conde Nast Tower just may become a part of history.

Just saw this building in real life last week. Great design en very impressive. Funny thing to me was that they were already using half of the tower while the top wasn't even finished yet. Is that normal in NY?

Yes, for example; during the construction of the NY Times Tower, the lower floors were occupied by office workers.

That is what I call, good business!
