Does anyone have information about housing prices? Living costs? Average incomes by job category? City statistics and so on?

Right, and how do you explain Tibet then?

Tibet isn't a country, just an autonomy region of China. The past was past.

How do you explain this map of Qing Dynasty? Obviously, Tibet is already a part of China at least in seventeenth century. So in your opinion when did China invade Tibet?

70% of the post in this thread were about anything but the thread´s main subject, taking it into dead-end political discussions. This makes a good reflection on how the actual world is, and why we will never be able to get along.

Personally I´m glad to see how China is engaging this massive urban proyects. Wether they are taken to reality or not, this is city planning at it´s highest, and a pleasure to see.

^ Yeah, and this thread will probably be closed if a Tibet discussion or a superpower discussion is been started here, lets stick to the amazing Chinese masterplanning projects in this thread.

Looks cool but...

How will the people live in these places? Will they all have cars or something? There doesn't seem to have any commercial at all.. where will they get their groceries?

For instance in Hong Kong, right downstairs in most areas you can do all your basic shopping and eating right there. It looks like these are your standard North American style condo buildings with nothing around it.... doesn't seem like that great planning (North American city planning is all about the car... and it sucks) or perhaps these pictures obscure the commerical areas.

Congratulations for the China fast development. I'm really impressed with that!
Statiscs says in the future we will have only a few big economic supports in the world, which will be included 3 new nations:China, India and Brasil.
