http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...89#post9423589

Well they haven't started on the foundation yet, but they're bringing supplies and such to the site.

again I say it should only reflect a building that is actually U/C (excavation, shoring, piling etc) not all the panamania towers here have any evidence (site shot, project sign board etc) that its actually started. Approval is one thing and actaully starting is another.
If this is the case then we can add about another 10 approved but not yet U/C to dubai but its not real untill they start

BTW, Al DarrahII tower in Dubai is U/C , had a night out with the architect and he confirmed it

Farros Central are about to go under construction but Torre Planetarium is under construction. Just check it out! BUt amazing diagram!!!!!!!!1
ill add 360m Farros central when it starts
just with Torre planetarium, it will have 82 floors but to make 300m each floor will have to be 3.7m/12ft high.
If its residential wont it be closer to 3m/10ft per floor thus-250m high? -this is the height on SSP.
can we somehow get confirmation on its 300m height?

There's another possible 300+ tower under/construction in Dubai's SZR. We just found a tiny render:

http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...9&page=3&pp=25

Considering the tower is G+M+70 and has a spire, it may easily touch the 300m mark. Maybe some Emporis editors can contact the architect for the height and a bigger render.

BTW becouse of the newely imposed Airport Height Restrictions, I doubt Al Durrah 2 is being build at the original height of 330m. Two plots away, Al Rafi Complex, got a permision for just 197 meters maximum height, so they scraped the first 350m design.
