We looked at mountains until dawn, and then when dawn came, it was too pretty for me - there was pink and blue and gold, in the sky, and on icy places, brilliant pink and gold flashes, and the snow was colored too, and I said," Oh," and sighed; and each moment was more beautiful than the one before; and I said, " I love you, Momma." Then I fell asleep in her arms.
That was happiness then.

Very nice thread. I enjoyed the photos focusing on individual buildings the most: i visited several of them and it was nice to see them from the air.

The only thing that surprised me is the state of the two stadiums: I expected more from the home stadiums of SPFC and of Corinthians.

Rio and Sao Paulo are the two Brazilian cities I would kill to visit and even live in. Eu amo Sao Paulo e Rio de Janeiro!! I never knew that there are so many colonial buildings in Sao Paulo. They blend superbly with the towers around them.

Few questions:

How's the crime situation?
Has the terrible traffic been tackled?
Pollution levels?

except for Arena da Baixada (in Curitiba) brazilian stadiums suck. Morumbi and Pacamebu actually are better than average.

I think those 3 are the main and worse problems of São Paulo!

The crime situation is under control, but the numbers are pretty high. The traffic is just terrible, as it is in any huge city.

The pollution level is under control, but now in winter, we had a couple of really hot and dry days, and the pollution levels were really high. But on average the city is doing good!

Wow, thanks so much!
It is just wonderful to see from SP aerial up close personal when its skyline is so full of endless pile ups. Great captures!

Yeah, Alfredo Schurig is very small, but Corinthians doesn't play there. Despite be a municipal stadium, Pacaembu is considered "the Corinthians' stadium". It was buit in 1940 in fascist style!
