Wasn't there a height restriction in Vancouver before? Or is there still one?

The one in Vancouver is 183m, which is under the height restriction. And I think there is still a height restriction.

This one is in Toronto. 213m.

Let's hope for Calgary too!

RBC Centre by the looks of things. And they have a tighter deadline than a hotel.

CN Tower is just too tall! Is this thing to scale?

The elevator shaft looks way too tall in that diagram.

That's a distorted picture of the CN Tower, and the scale is off as well. The CN Tower is 553 metres/1815 feet tall. Proper scale would be a CN Tower that is a little taller than the restaurant/observation pod. Still, it puts the Toronto skyline into perspective. The CN Tower has a dwarfing effect on office towers that are actually rather tall.

The cn tower doesn't have 181 stories does it? I thought it was 147 =\ lol. Also that render of the rbc makes the building look alot shorter then what it's propoed at, at least it does to me

Yes, the CN Tower has 181 floors. They have an annual stair climb fundraiser, and it's definitely 181 floors. The RBC render above is for 31 floors. It is now being built to 41 floors.

147 to the Space Deck. The stair climb is only to the main pod at 112 stories. 181 would be to the tip of the tower.
