Bao'an Central District is Shenzhen's 2nd largest investment plan after Shenzhen CBD [or FuTian Central District],
with area of 7.18km2 and 5 km long coastline... the extended Central Area is 162.1 km2, and population of 907 thousand...

Longgang [龍崗; simplified Chinese: 龙岗] is one of the six districts of the Shenzhen sub-provincial city, in Guangdong Province, southern China. It is located outside of the Special Economic Zone, north-east of Shenzhen. With an area of 940.9 km2, It is the largest District in Shenzhen.

LongGang Olympic New Town is a key project of the city's bid for the 2011 Universiade. Which will cover 13.4 square kilometers, including a 6.5-square-kilometer Olympic Park. The park will house a stadium, a gym and a swimming center that can accommodate as many as 60,000, 18,000 and 10,000 people respectively. An athletes' village for 10,000 people will also be set up in the park.

The combined team from the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (BIAD) and U.S.-based CA designers' agency came up with the winning design, authorities announced over the weekend.

However, authorities said the winning design was not perfect and that they would combine the designs submitted by two runners-up to achieve the final design. The two runners-up were Hong Kong EDAW and a joint venture between U.K.-based ARUP and Denmark-based HLT. The two teams will be awarded 800,000 yuan each.

The only local designer in the final group of five was China State Construction International (Shenzhen) Design Consultant Co. Ltd.

I think Most of U/C Projects are Residential Buildings in Bao'an Central district now... The office buildings are not started yet...
