The Owls won theire first home game of the season today (at last). Although it was against a 10-person Barnsley side.

I don't want Leeds to go down, or Barnsley, or Hull for that matter

More derbies the better as we don't seem to be going anywhere

So much for Leeds being Yorkshire's biggest club. There were 10,000 more fans at Hillsboro on Saturday. And United are averaging almost 10,000 more than Leeds for every home game.

When the going gets tough, Leeds fans watch Man U instead.

We've always known that the best supported club in Yorkshire was Wednesday, and I'd imagine closely followed by the Blades.

Look at when Wendy were in League 2. Still getting gates of 24k, and regularly out-selling a Championship United!

Heard something this morning on the news, apparently Sheffield is hopeing to be chosen for one outdoor Grand Prix meet (at DVS) and one indoor meet of some-nature (at EIS). Not heard if we've been successful.

It was on Look Leeds tonight. Next year EIS is going to get the European Indoor trails and Don Valley will finally get the British Grand Prix back.

Twin Sheffield pop singers arrested for telling thousands of Barnsley fans to F-Off!!

Anyone see this in the news, it did make me laugh!!

A twin sister pop duo have apologised for launching a foul-mouthed tirade at football fans during a derby match at Sheffield's Hillsborough stadium.
Francine and Nicola Gleadall, 18, hit back at away fans who jeered as they performed at half-time in Saturday's Sheffield Wednesday-Barnsley match.

One of the singers shouted obscenities which were amplified around the ground, while the other flicked V-signs.

The pair were arrested and issued with £80 fixed penalties, police confirmed.

This is great news! All that needs to happen now is for some people to bother to trn up, and decent TV coverage wouldn't go amiss!

I liked the article about TWIN. Saw it yesterday on BBC South Yorkshire website. How is launching a tirade of four-letter words and making obscene gestures "A genuine mistake"? What, you opened your mouth and "fuck off you barnsley wankers" just popped out!?

Sturrock's been sacked after the 4-0 drubbing by Colchester. Not looking good for the yorkshire teams in this league, my team Barnsley are still ahead of Wednesday even though we lost at Hillsborough last weekend.
