Off to Goodison tomorrow - can't wait! First away game for years. I'm from Sheffield, but was exiled in Buckinghamshire until I came back 4 years ago for uni. Last away game I saw was I think Watford at Vicarage road, maybe in the premiership!

Good idea - last time I went we were pestered by local scallies asking 'quid to look after your car mate'. With the implication that they would be taking care of the car one way or the other.

That was ages ago though so things have probably changed...

...now they ask for a fiver.

I agree. I think it's gonna be back down the league tables for us.

2-0 to the Owls. Strange the effect that sacking the manager can have.

Hmm. Especially strange seeing as we've not got a real manager, and none of the supporters are happy with Sturrock being sacked.

3 - 2 win having thrown away an early 2 goal lead is a great result for Wednesday.

I had to console my 2-0 defeat at Goodison followed by a train that was "full" and I couldn't get on (I had a ticket, and why only put 3 carriages on the Liverpool - Sheffield express after a footie game> tw*ts) with the glee of Leeds' 5-1 thrashing at Luton

Going down Leeds?

Not being from Sheffield I don't have allegences to either team, however I do share the sense of enjoyment at Seeing Leeds at the bottom. If only the season ended now...

What time train was it?

We got on the 10.42 one(JUST!) IT was rammed with people though but we managed to get in our reserved seats.

On the way home from Liverpool, I missed the 17:52 by a few minutes, so got the 18:52, but they told me it was full. About 50 or 60 of us couldn't get on. I don't think First expected that many fans from Sheffield.

Eventually got a train to Mnc Victoria and walked through the cty centre.

Wednesday seem to be picking them selves up a bit finally (hopefully more than just a good spell). They beat Crystal Palace 3-2 today.

Wednesday are mid table now, and seem to be going strong (touch wood). They've had 5 wins in the last 7 matches, and only one loss.

That puts them mid table at 13.

United aren't doing so well, but atleast they're not in the relegation zone.

Well I personally wished Wednesday had stopped winning on saturday, but they are doing well now and I wish them every success. (As long as its not to the cost of Ipswich obviously).
