Construction continues on schedule. Concrete slabs are being poured for floor levels 26, 27, 28 and 29. Forming and pouring of the sixth and seventh floor slab in the north podium area will be completed. Curtain wall installation in the tower continues on levels 18, 19, 20 and 21 and will commence on the podium area. Elevator installation will continue in the high rise, mid rise and service elevator banks. Mechanical and electrical trades will continue with their rough ins throughout the tower floors including lighting, fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Concrete block and drywall board installation will continue on the tower office floors at the washrooms and elevator shafts, elevator lobbies and stairwells. The adjacent Ritz-Carlton project will complete the third floor podium slab pour and is starting the fourth and fifth tower slab floors.

i cant tell if this one is gonna turn out well or not ... i know it has the slight angle thing on the lower corner, but it might just end up being an ugly glass tower ... we'll just have to wait n c

luckily in 10 years there will be many taller, better designed towers in the immediate area that will take the focus of this tower

I was thinking the same. atleast it's going to be a fairly tall glass tower - a great filler anyway ...

The glass is so transparent. Clearly there's going to be shades that are put in after the tenants have moved in. Those are going to be very visible.

I think it is all about proportions. Once it gets more height, it will look more slender. Currently it looks somewhat chunky.

No, that's Bay-Adelaide. RBC is just to the right of those 3 black towers. It will rise to the same height as the second tallest of the black towers I just mentioned.

I am actually so obsessed with Toronto right now, Bay-Adelaide, RBC Center, Trump... In a few years Toronto's skyline will be completely insane. Best in North America, outside of NYC, and the only thing it "lacks" compared to the Big Apple is ultra-density.

It truly is amazing. I have never seen a building boom like this.

There are the large projects, such as Trump, B&A, 1 Bloor, Aura, RBC, Ritz, Shangri-La, Four Seasons and so forth, but also there are projects all around the GTA that are happening. You literally drive around and see cranes everywhere . It's madness!

I use to live out in Kelowna for some time, but I moved back to Toronto and don't regret my decision. Kelowna, though beautiful, is just too slow-paced. I missed the craziness of the city and of course all the developments.

I think the transulcent accent glass almost looks better than marble.

Kelowna is slow paced, but it is one of the (If not THE) fastest growing cities in the country. Highrises are popping up all over that area, and it really pisses me off. The last highrise built in Kamloops was around 2004 and since that time only one has been proposed, and I am not even sure if it is approved yet its been on the chopping block for well over a year now.

Toronto is going through the roof!! And not only the Downtown core + Harbourfront. The Midtown area is beefing up as well. Nice to see all the action. It was a bit overdue.

Congratulations Toronto !!!!

BTW, back to the topic: RBC is developing nicely.
