DAM IT, the second (nearly) super tall building after the Torch where they made a cool first design and changed it into crap !

Now its just a balcony box with a typical Dubai Top....

how come 296m? why not add 4m to spire to make 300m?
i can see alot of really tall unit blocks in Dubai are same floor plate for 90% of height and top section topped with crown and spire. should look very NYC in 10 years!
cheers

some times towers are limited to above 'sea level" heights, alot of cities are only 3-6m above sea level thus sometimes 300m above sea level or 290m+ or 497m etc.
Eureka in melbourne is 297m but exactly 300m above sea level.

I did never understand, the concept of "sea level height". What does that have to do with the architecture and urban planing?

If there are health issues or other to be consider, why have thy to be mixed?

Or all these have to do with GPS coordinates?

Does that mean the Netherlands potentially have an advantage over most of the world as most of the country is actually below sea level???
