i was 100% sure the building in those 2 last photos was a render... even now when it was said it's real, i find it hard to believe

yes the building is real and the main contractors were Samsung who r the main contractors in building Burj Dubai now

It's been more than 2 months since the last update. I counted 23 floors. So ~3 floors per month.

the website and emporis says office, residential, retail. the first 7 floors look large compared to rest?

if the first 7 floors are office, you devide 72 by 7= %10. so it scrapes in at pure resi. It needs atleast 90% residential use.
i think it qualifies. but is currently 20 floors. it wont beat the dubai towers which are all now 40 floors.
