Ah, okay. It looked like it got hit by a hurricane in some of those shots.

Just amazing...

Here's one anecdote...
You'll see, about 2 or 3 years ago, there was this "experiment" in Mexico, where a group of children from the Tarahumara ethnic group, the poorest in the nation, around 10-12 years old, were taken, along with one of their parents, throughout few cities in Mexico.

These kids live in small villages, where one house is usually 1 km away from other houses, thus spreading in a wide area. One day, researchers arrived to the Sierra Tarahumara, invited these people to participate in the project, and some agreed. The experiment was focused on the children. They were taken to cities with highrises, such as Mazatlan, Mexico City or Guadalajara. None of these cities have Dubai's supertalls, so imagine it.

The kids were shown the skyscrapers, and as I was told by a relative of mine who participated, were later invited to enter one tower. However, the kids immediately refused, and a collective disturbance arised among the kids. My aunt asked one of the kids if he wasn't curious about how it would be to be inside and so high above...

Apparently, kids turned somewhat mad, and when later asked, parents said their children couldn't handle the idea of being inside such small "boxes", as the infants called them... Also, the kids repeatedly asked for what kind of animals were those "cages", when staring at tiny hotel windows from the ground... Even when offered free living in one of the towers (which was just a mere fictional offer), the kids again refused, insisting on the fact they would never be inside those boxes...

I wonder what they would think in HK or Dubai...
