Just imagine having an apartment in the middle of that clusters with all those towers so close and tall around you.

To me this looks as if some parts of the spire can be seen through the scaffolding, but not to the top of it. I guess the spire should continue a bit, but higher than the scaffolding wouldn't work with the 338m height. Also IMO there's a shadow of the asymmetric spiral, too.

Based on the renders, to me it seams like the spire is pretty much done as it is.

Now here's the spire showing through, no doubt.
But what's the large cuboid of scaffolding for actually? I bet if they'd kept a crane on top, the thin "layer" of scaffolding, that is visible in the middle, would've been enough (like weeks ago at the Emirate Park Towers, for instance).

I start to like the scaffolding - it's a piece of art in its own right.

can i just say that is the most overkill of scaffolding ive ever seen? surely they dont require all that just for a spire? why didnt they just haul up the spire in one peice and stcik it on?

Would someone explain Dubai to me.

Are most of these buildings empty? Or where do they find tenants for all these new buildings in such a tiny country?

Also, I just can't appreciate that skyline. They all just kinda blur into each other and look one in the same. Shame.

You seams to have figure it all out already, so I'm afraid I would have to pass on the offer.
