Nice update once more, the tower is improving - the core is now at lev 27 or 28.
The Torch or 23 Marina are ahead in floors, but here the cladding is already applied right under the last finished floorplates, and you get a good impression how the tower will look in the end. Meanwhile most u/c-neighbours are standing as naked skeletons for a long time, so it could happen that Princess Tower will catch up in the long run.
It will be necessary to clean the complete facade then, but that won't be a big deal, I guess.

I wonder why they started the cladding so early. The tower isnt progressing well in height.

dunno what's so special with an early cladding-start. just look to chicago for example, at trump tower they started much earlier with the cladding....

Read my comment above yours. Building a tower is like racing in F1: There are different strategies a team can implement in order to finish first.

No it doesn't. It looks so cheap... and it's ugly as hell.

The cladding isnt anything special but its OK. Its not all that simple to anticipate what impression it will make when completed in its entirety.

the white panels worry me a bit

is there any other towers that are clad in white

i know rain is rare but towers in the UK that are clad in white panels tend to go yellow and makes it look tatty

It's not a matter of color, rather of materials used in the cladding panels. Exist even some so called "self cleaning" panels.
