this must be the most amazing supertall cluster in the world. the density is insane (too insane for me). you're f***ed when you live in the center of the cluster in one of the lower floors.[/QUOTE]

True if i lived like that it wouldn't take long before i was a bit

If this rendering is correct, there should be a setback after the next floor...

I want to know why they did not offset them a little bit. If they are directly in line then surely those on the lower floors only have a view of the apartment across the street? What is the point of putting them by the Ocean if only a quarter of the residents gets an ocean view?!

Well, there is absolutely no chance to see the ocean if you're living on the other side of the tower even if there would be a single tower instead of the cluster. I'd say the gulf is visible from around 50% of units as opposed to around 75% if there wouldn't be any other towers round. Not THAT much of a difference.

On recent pics from Palm Jumeira, the lowest visible level of the core looks like the taller technical floor 79. So IMO floor slab 78 is u/c now, and AltinD was right: they're doing floor 86 on top, up to 319.6 m!
Thus PT is 7th tallest structure in Dubai so far, and will soon overtake Burj Al Arab, Index and Rose Tower.

Thanks for clearing that up guys.

I was way out! lol But haven't checked in on PT in a while so...

Only another 15 levels on the core and they'll hit the target! It's gonna be amazing to finally see PT top out - but then there is the dome on top, which in itself will take time to construct no doubt.

Nice that you're back with a diagram, Culwulla.

I think that core framework is up to 87th floor / 323.2m on recent night pics. The last technical floor, number 79, is the lowest of the visible core levels there.

Q1 vs Eureka is a good example of how spires can be cheap.

Great to see a diagram again. PT is getting there.

I really appreciate the spire on Pentominium, also!
