Has the core topped out yet? Maybe 1-2 floors left?

Well... the big formwork has gone bye-bye. But no new levels and only a bit of new cladding in the previous 13 days.

Appreciated!

Those pictures taken from up there using wide angle are awesome, and the first of this kind I've seen of the tallest block in a long time.

I'll be moving to Dubai the next couple of weeks. Let's see if Tameer allow me to go into the Princess - I want to see interior.... and take pics.

I believe the black walls are the last rectangular floor, which would mean the next floor will be circular.

I havent seen any of Culwulla's diagrams lately about the tallest residential building in the world. Is this one winning or not? And which one will be highest after that ? The pentominium?

Finally there's an update on the Tameer website with photos from inside an views from different levels.
http://www.tameer.net/projects/princess_tower.asp

Kitchen tiles are the height of luxury!! Treat them carefully - they must have cost a fortune.

Balcony tiles are actually quite nice.

And don't forget:
The tower offers a large selection of luxury residential units consisting of one, two, three and four bedroom apartments, duplex and exclusive penthouses.

Of course.

If yo need me, I'm on my way to the home improvement store looking for new kitchen tiles!!

Good to see that the inside has progressed; the lower floors look almost ready for move-in. Somehow I like the newest rendering of the top with the black&white contrast, although the embellishment of the round part is almost over the top and appears like the Princess' wedding cake.

Here another overall view from Palm Jumeirah...

Only a few pics to go on here of course, so it would be wrong to judge the entire project based on only this, but must say that these particular interiors here are just horrendous. Those tiles and kitchen cabinets are terrible! I wasn't expecting Burj Al Arab here but this is quite disappointing to see. The crisis bites down hard..

Is that a washing machine/dryer in the kitchen?? Cause I've never seen a dishwasher with a window before. Who does that.

Retro looking kitchen, my parents had one that looked like that when I was a toddler.
