Great video, but the whole zone needs more green, trees and grass would give this place more life.

It's a desert. Unless you count shrubs and sagebrush as greenery, that is.

Didn't they plan on filling in Dubai with gardens, lawns, and nature parks? I know they atleast proposed it for the creek and dubailand

I know is a desert, but building owners can still plant some gardens, or plant some palm trees on the sidewalks.

I'm just saying.

Planting greenery is one thing, keeping it alive is another.

There is still construction going on. In the street next to princess tower they have taken trees, greenery, and even water features in the middle of the road down.

more greenery will come when the time is right. landscaping work just recently started in the JLT cluster opposite of marina, and along the metro viaduct on SZR.

don't worry - we don't need to tell anybody in the Emirates that having greenery is nice.

15-aug

ok, so what have we got here? let's take a closer look.

the third dome arch and a few hoists for facade cleaning have been installed. I reckon there will be one for each side:

this is the next one to go up there, ready for the big crane to pick up:

I bet you didn't notice in the first picture: the first crown petal has been installed

some tower here in the marina needs to take a good bath before handover...

this is the front of the empty retail spaces of Emirates Crown tower, right next to Princess Tower. Somebody is going to be very happy once this giant construction is complete!!!

I'll wager it takes hours to install each curved truss.

Is the height confirmed? Or does he wear hat or spire?

Btw. CTBUH got Al Hamra Tower listed with only 413m... maybe Princess Tower will soon be 3rd in Middle East alone.
