Christmas TV is shit today. I managed to endure Babe because my girlfriend thinks "he's so so cute. Aww!" and now she's flicking through the channels to find anything worth watching.

RIP James Brown!

I thought there was some decent telly on today (and some crap). Thanks to a pretty severe sickness bug going round this way at the moment we were grounded at home all day so had to watch the box. Vicar of Dibley was great as ever!

One of the contestants in Mastermind - no joking here; this is all serious quizzing - replied in unmatched stupor to:

Q: Bill Clinton was president from 1992 to 2000. Who was his vice president?

A: Lewinsky

Nicolas Cage lets it down though, he's a shit actor. Great film overall though. The final car chase is a corker.

I would love to be watching Life of Brian but Mrs Longford just whined and whinged in the lovely way women do for the first five minutes bitching about "You've seen it before" and "I dont want to watch posh blokes dressed up as women putting on silly voices" so i just gave up and retired to the bed chamber so she can watch 50 Most Annoying TV Programmes Aimed at Fucking Stupid Women or some other pile of brain mulch.

I didn't watch it because I thought it looked rather dull, despite having the likes of Matt Lucas in it.

Vicar of Dibley was the only good thing on on Christmas Day. And today.. Well I suppose Life of Brian but it was one or the other.
