I'm the only foreigner here, I was born in Baltimore (near Washington), but all my family is from Warsaw, Poland, I am first generation and will move right back to Europe, I've spent enough time in Poland, I can speak the language well, and survive on my own. But I do survive in Europe better than in the US

i think youll get a mixed responce on this question.
our national language is arabic..and our secondary languages are french and english
...to start with the lebanese aribic differs from the proper arabic in many ways. most lebanese understand proper arabic well bcz all of our news and movies are in it..but i noticed visitors from other arab countries sometimes having trouble understanding the lebanese dialect....
but that may be bcz..depending on the area you are in..the style of talk changes.
to me ...mountians lebs roll everyword together and sometimes sounds like they are mumbling,.,,,and the peope i am around in the city...use a combination of 2 or more languages to speak in.

as for a lebanese laguage..well there is a speak lebanese insttute here in lebanon...so i am asuming yes..

yes there is Sargon, as theres a Egyptian language, Saudi Arabian language etc... It is all based on the arabic language but it either has it's own accent, different words or just completely not the same way other arabic speaking nations say it. I don't understand any other arabic but the Egyptian one, the Saudi Arabian or the Gulf language to me is like chinese... kinda weird

I am trying to invite my Lebanese doctor and his family to our home, I know him because when a member of my family had his wife as a client (for a coat store) told him I had a medical problem that prevented me from playing football/soccer (I was devastated), he came out for free (on his own time and free will) and checked it out. He setup the operation and everything, dinner for him and his family is the least I could do. He even gave us a rug from Lebanon (handmade) which was really nice. Even taught me a few things in French I didn't know
That's nice of him to do that I hope right now you are able to play football/soccer.

My parents are both Iranian, from Mazandaran province in the caspian region, and ancestrially from Shamirzad/Sangesar (mountain towns in the Semnan province). I was born in England... little seaside town in the south west called 'Torquay' lived here all my life.
