I think Lacson Street. I find it wide, especially in Mandalagan District.

Zyanz, ano ang pinakalapad guid nga dalan. Ang Araneta padulong Airport? Ang pa-Mansilingan? Daw tanan nga dalan sa BCD lapad, hehehe! :P

Pero favorite ko pa man guihapon ang Lacson St. Ambot ngaa.

The reason for the question is that I find all roads in Bacolod relatively wide as what I can see in Google Earth. Probably good urban planning

Walang anuman. I'm also excited with this new airport, and also with several others u/c in the country. It's great to see that things are looking up for the aviation industry and that infrastructure in the Philippines is rapidly improving.

Agree. Ako, all the way to Silay. Ugaling pakadto Victorias, wala na...
Anyway, basta namian ako sa alagyan pa-Silay. Daw Expressway kay di traffic.

Bacolod may be needing flyovers in the future but not within 10 years time. Due to good urban planning and traffic management.

Question: Is there a possibility that Banago Port will be upgraded?

@ Eric. That's another question. Officially, asta diin ang Araneta Street halin Plaza? Is it until Airport Singcang or NOHS or until Sum-ag?

There's a trouble with names of the roads here in the country. Didto pa lang sa Iloilo gani, Lopez Jaena Street tapos E.Lopez dayon Luna dayon Bonifacio Drive. Cebu naman: North Road then MC Cuenco then Imus then Del Rosario then Bacalso then South Road. One Street/road, many names.

also going to Alijis is a wider road too.

araneta street is from Bacolod city plaza to Bago city plaza,... it was so named because it was the same path that general juan araneta used to invade bacolod...from bago.

In fact in fornt of the bago city coliseum is a statue of the general in a horse still facing bacolod

it means: araneta street, bacolod city & araneta street, bago city. & i think the other reason is bcoz there is Araneta Museum (Bago City Museum) @ Bago.

favorite mo maybe bcoz of more night life there along Lacson unlike the araneta is one night life but a big complex & crowd of people. haha! especialy that's the place of more 6 workers.

street naming has been a problem in our country. when i was just a newbie here in manila i ws soooo damn confused mapa Pasong Tamo ako, tapos ang makita ko nga marker sa streets is "Chino Roces"

ang Reposo was named "N. Garcia"

and i also get confused pirmi sa Luna street sa iloilo. that long street of road from atrium asta didto sa sarabia manor is Luna Street.
while the street from the capitol dire diretso sa wvsu... is also luna street.

The street from the Atrium up to the stop light (UPV) is Gen. Luna St., Iloilo City. Beyond that, it is already Molo so the street becomes M. H. del Pilar St., Molo up to the Molo Plaza, where it ends.

The street from the Arroyo fountain up to the Forbes Bridge is Bonifacio Drive, Iloilo City. After that, it becomes Luna St., La Paz up to the Mission Road intersection. Then it becomes E. Lopez St., Jaro up to the Jaro Plaza, where it terminates.

The street from La Paz Plaza up to Mission Road Extension is known as Burgoz St., La Paz. Then it becomes Commission Civil St., Jaro up to the Jaro Plaza; then it is called Rizal St. along the Plaza's perimeter, and eventually becomes Lopez-Jaena St., Jaro from that point up to its end at the Diversion Road junction in Sambag.

Basically this is a problem in every major Philippine city.

Name changes do apply due to some reasons. Pasong Tamo was renamed Chino Roces. The only constant in the streets of the Philippines is change, hehehe!
