spooky i have fallen in love with you. I laugh my ass of now cuz out here were kinda like dubai (just without the cash), tryin to build ourselves a skyline. LA is one of the most underrated skyskraper cities in the world. Mostly cuz its more expensive per floor here than anywhere else, except maybe New York now with the anti-terrorism stuff. I got alot of respect for 1 world, and it makes me cringe when people call it the freedom tower. Makes me punch walls. But those international ****s are just jumping on the anti-us bandwagon cuz weve been the most badass country for over 100 years and there just gettin tired of it. IM really excited to see what gets done in lower manhattan, and in midtown, and whats goin on out here too, sept theres no real highrises bein built no more.

15 of them were bought for a testing period over this summer. they won't be widely used because the department can't afford them and are buying new 2007 impalas.

Until the PA makes their decision on 9/20, we will not until then if the FT will be built or not, though the likelihood is that it will be another false start.

Actually foundation work has already begun unlike 2 years ago and the cornerstone BS.

You've also been obsessing over this for the past 5 years. Get over yourself.

I've been to NYC 3 times in the last year, and lurking on this thread ona daily basis recently, and by heck, I've been really hoping that the wranglings holding this back would be resolved. Great to see the whole thing getting moving and with Goldman Sach, the continued development of Battery Park City and Downtown. Now, if you get the Beekman Street tower and Calatrava's tower for South Street Seaport I'll be even more excited. Top work team!

LOL I think ALL of Dubai's projects will be completed well before this project because it's moving so slowly.
