It's roof height, and, as far as I know, T2 has a slanted roof.

I dont think any of them have spires but as for slanted roofs, no idea. 2 WTC having a slanted roof is news to me. I thought that was just the old design. Im hoping its flat, im not diggin a slanted roof.

Apparently 2 WTC is hovering around the same height as the old one. I mean technically, in height were getting the old WTC back, and more. Just different designs and locations.

This complex will finally close the cluster in the NY downtown skyline. The previous WTC let the skyline appeal uncomplete. There was something i missed in the skyline. The twins were good but this will be the non plus ultra for the NY skyline. And the good thing is that so many architects work on it.It wont be a vision of just one architect. You will see that there was a mind battling between the architacts during the conceptulising time. And the whole center will stick out of the skyline they will be the first whole glass towers in the downtown skyline.

is there a possibility that 2WTC may look identical to 1WTC minus the spire, effectively becoming like twins? it seems like their floor heights are so identical.

no each building has its own design, but hopefully they all compliment eachother like the ESB and Chrysler do for eachother. Vengineer is the insideman, look at his signature or mine for heights of the towers.

well thats a 'slight' bummer.... but im sure the 4 frikkin supertalls right next to each other is more than enough to reclaim the visual impact of the late twins.

Do we know what Gehry's Performing Arts Center will look like? Are there any renders, or is the design going to be revealed on Thursday as well?

Thursday is only for the three towers, and maybe the new 1WTC spire if we're lucky. I can't wait... only 3 days left.
