A first for Johor Baru

The lane stretches around the township and is well designed with signages and integration with existing roads there. It creates a safe zone and promotes green activity by encouraging the public to ride for a healthier lifestyle. In conjunction with the recent World Earth Day, the Johor Baru South District Police Headquarters organised a Ronda Riadah ride as part of its community safety efforts at the Seri Austin Sales Gallery recently. State Police Chief Deputy Comm Mohd Mokhtar Shariff was the guest of honour at the event. To commemorate Earth Day, a 30km mountain bike race and family ride including tree planting ceremony was also organised. Dynasty View Sdn Bhd (DVSB) senior general manager, Wong Kuen Kong, together with all his staff took part in the event. “We hope that the bicycle lane opening will benefit the public especially residents in this area. I also hope that people will also be more aware about doing their part to save mothernature,” he said. He added that the tree planting ceremony symbolizes the continuous effort and cooperation of ‘Eco-living’ campaign by UM land together with the support and encouragement by Johor Baru city council to advocate a greener and healthier living. At a separate function, DVSB expanded it collaboration with Telekom Malaysia Bhd by signing of service agreement to install high speed broadband for its Seri Austin Residence Apartment in Taman Sri Austin. Some 420 Sri Austin Residence Apartments will be the first luxury apartment in the area to be connected with Unifi. The apartments are priced from RM214,800 and vary between 661sq/feet, 888sg/feet and 1,208 sq/feet. International Trade & Industry, Energy, Water, Communication and Environment committee chairman Tan Kok Hong was the guest-of-honour at the event.

The extension of AEON Bukit Indah finally has comppleted. Now the mall has a cinema
 30 May - TGV is set to open its 17th cinema tomorrow at Johor Bahru; TGV Bukit Indah, which will not only encompass 7 standard halls, but an additional Beanieplex hall as well as a premiere class hall, TGV Club. This new development comes after the unveiling of their newly renovated TGV Sunway Pyramid branch last December. there is another project coming up? the one opposite KSL. It appears that the site is undergoing hoading installation and excavation. Anyone have any idea what proposal is that?
