GDYNIA | Sea Towers | 138m | 36 fl | 91m | 28 fl | Com

web page

The Sea Towers consist of two joined towers, the first with a height of 28 storeys, and the second with 36 storeys. The higher tower, together with its antenna mast, will reach a height of 138 metres. Its top floor will be taken up by a viewing terrace for residents and their guests.

The three lower storeys are destined for technical utility rooms and parking spaces, as well as a separate part for services, trade and recreation. Elegant offices, situated on the Bay side, will have their own internal access.

Above the commercial zone, comfortable residential apartments have been designed to have magnificent views and optimum sunlight. The highest storeys of both towers will be taken up by luxurious penthouses with a panoramic view of Gdańsk Bay.

The designers of the Sea Towers project are a well-known Viennese architectural office and its accomplishment is in the hands of established contractors with international experience.

Date of accomplishment
28.02.2009

We hear about this building for some 2 years, but it didn't even rose over ground yet.

C'mon people. This is a nice building in a nice town. If you think that no skyscraper should be built in a village, when is the village gonna be a city?

Nice development for a small city like Gdynia (I never heard of it). It's good to see that quality high rise projects are not only build in the bigger cities.

The towers look interesting, the residents will have a glorious view over the sea and the harbour.

edit:
for the criticasters:
the population of Gdynia is about 253.500 (end 2003, source: official site)
I would say it's a city, for example the United Arab Emirates had a population of 70.000 in 1950. If somebody then would have said that 60 years later the worlds tallest tower would stand in Dubai, people would have said Dubai, what is that?
So people of Gdynia congrats on your tower U/C!

GDYNIA is 250.000 but it's part of GDANSK agglomeration. gdansk + sopot + gdynia form sa called 'tri-city'. and 3city is surrounded by several small towns. total population of agglomeration is over 1 milion.
sea towers are first real skycrapers in 3city. right now the highest buildings are in range 17-20 floors, mainly in gdansk. on the photo you can see city (centre) of gdynia where max height is generally 11 floors. that's why you have impression of towers in the village. but it should change as gdynia has a lot of free area in the city and this area is dedicated also for new towers.
