A bus terminus-cum-business centre planned in the area

HYDERABAD: The old Gandhi hospital land where a bus terminus-cum-business centre to ease congestion near Secunderabad railway station has been planned was inspected by authorities from various civic agencies.

Coming up on 11 acres of land with 65 bus terminals, the Rs. 230-crore project would be either funded by HUDA or taken up in public-private partnership mode.

The HUDA, MCH, Railway, RTC and Traffic police officials inspected the site jointly and studied the designs prepared by the consultant Anil Chawla to offer their suggestions.

The bus terminus-cum-business centre with over eight lakh sft multi-level parking facility,
twin towers, each with 28 storeys was designed to handle 30 lakh passengers and would accommodate 1,200 cars and 9,000 two-wheelers. A flyover from Boiguda to Clock Tower would ease traffic congestion on the routes heading to and from Railway Station.

The MCH Additional Commissioner and Project Director Mass Rapid Transit System N.V.S.Reddy said the project with many components would be integrated with the railway facilities including two MRTS lines from Secunderabad Jubilee Bus Station to Falaknuma and Tarnaka to Hi-tech city and seven RTC bus stands in the vicinity of railway station. Subways from the railway station platform would connect to the complex enabling passengers board the shuttle services.

http://www.saketgroup.com/towers.asp

recently I ran into this site.

It seems they are building a 21 floor residential tower. But they didnt mention the location where it would be built.

Question

In the current boom time, which building, do you think is going to beat the long standing record of Babukahan estates as the tallest building in our 'happening' Hyderabad.

There are many proposals on paper, but, which one is going to be the "first one" to break that record.

I guess the "epark" building in kondapur already beats the babukhan building in terms of height.

L&T serene county, Gachi bowli.

buildings under construction in Serene county.

I dont understand why all the builders in Hyderabad end up building a G+5 structure for anything (residential as well as commercial).
Why cant they think beyond that magic number G+5?
It is time to grow vertical and these buildings will surely make way for new tradition in Hyderabad.

Hey this saket structure is most probably gonna be near the ECIL-X roads.....as they have a big township kinda colony over there. It's near my house in Hyderabad.

I heard from my dad that they also brought a piece of land near this colony.

Tishman takes $2 bn, 10-year call
Quote:
Ties up with ICICI Venture to float first real estate development fund

HYDERABAD: US real estate developer and investor Tishman Speyer, which has tied up with ICICI Venture to kick off India’s first real estate development fund, is looking to invest anywhere between $1 billion and $2 billion in the country over the next 10 years.

The combine, which owns such landmark projects as the New York Times Building and the Rockefeller Center in the US, is in the process of closing Phase 1 of the investment totaling $500 million in equity.

It will use these funds to execute four projects in the country, Prakash Gurbaxani, CEO, TSI Ventures told DNA Money. The first of these projects is the signature twin-tower at Nanakramguda, a stone’s throw from the ISB campus in Hyderabad. Costing a whopping Rs 450 crore, the first 25-storied tower will be complete in three years. The project, spread over 12 acres, will have 1.5 million square feet of built-up office space.

TSI Ventures has hired US-based Pei Cobb & Freeb (PCF), which was formerly known as I M Pei, to prepare the designs for the twin-towers. PCF has designed such noted structures as the John F Kennedy Library in Boston, the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong, and the glass pyramid and expansion of the Louvre in Paris. Ground breaking on the Hyderabad twin-towers project will be in early 2007.

Gurbaxani refused to name the three other projects the company had finalised, except for saying they were in metros and mini-metros.

Over the next 10 years, the group aims to develop upwards of 20 million sq ft of space, primarily office space and single family homes, Gurbaxani said. However, TSI will not build malls, he clarified.

The Hyderabad project will have two 25-storied towers spread over 12 acres, it will have 1.5 million sq ft of built-up space. The first of these towers would come up in 3 years at a cost of Rs 450 crore

A JV between Bina Puri holdings BHD, Malaysia and Madhucon projects is developing a township complete with a Mall, Star hotel and high end luxury apartments in Kukatpally (opposite to JNTU).

Is this "The Rain tree park" township?

Ragha

Doesn't look like it. 1 of the buildings with cylindrical facade was never planned by "Raintree township". Kukatpally is seeing a lots of development. This looks like a new find to me.
