Lanco Hills Marketing campaign is one of the most innovative campaigns i've seen for a real estate project......
While Usually u see a project highlights sent to a "select few"', the've gone in for a national campaign............. I think thats done mostly keeping their IPO in mind

Ya, they have gone for a national campaign. Full back page colour ads were released in english dailies in Trivandrum/Kerala also.

Yes, they might also be looking for an IPO

even IVR Prime seems to be looking for an IPO. They started airing their ad on business channels.

Jai...................You took the words right out of my mouth. No wonder everyone here at SSC is confused whether its a 28-F tower or 44-F tower. A simple rendering can solve the confusion.

Renderings would be nice. But this is a private companies office. They have the right to keep it confidential.

Hi,

I am a new member to this forum and I quite enjoyed the previous posts. that was one of the excellent pictures by one of the forumers. Keep up the good work. Yesterday I visited the site, and the construction work there was really on a huge scale. To be precise, the tower is located quite opposite to Franklin Templeton investments office building which is about 150 mts away from the Microsoft office building. I actually saw the site some 2 months back and did not realize that it was the ICICI building. I went around the construction site and there was only a small hoarding put up implying that it was ICICI's property. Unlike other construction comapnies who put up huge hoardings. This was different. By the way, one would not notice such kind of huge foundation depth in recent buildings around Hyderabad(Though we might see huge construction cranes everywhere near hitech city, gachibowli,Jubilee hills, nanakram guda). So they must be building something which is worth the dig.
Let's see if they make it past 28 floors or just 28. But cheers , something worth while has literally broken ground. If any one has got an update on the APIIC tower plz update.

thnx in advance.

Welcome to SSCI, rajnath27.

Thnaks for your informational update. By the looks of the depth and the expanse of the foundation I have to agree with you on the possibility that the building itself will be worth the dig. Let's hope they put up a sweet 44-storey tower as per the original plan.

Lanco has entered the market at a wrong time when the real estate prices r declining due to slackening demand and Hyderabad is no exception to that. They have gone for both national and international campaigning (U.S.A) owing to poor local response. When investments and economic activities are slowing down here in Hyderabad it will have cascading effect on construction activities.Hyderabad depends on IT and ITES and some BPOs only.Absolutely no manufacturing industry coming up here. The way the projects r planned and executed there will be many many residential and commercial skyscrapers(around 300millionsft) by the year 2015 in and around Hyderabad. The average rate of growth of constructed space will be about 37 million sft per annum. The absorption will be around 20% of the constructed space only per annum thereby leaving large volume of constructed space unsold. This is not good for construction industry,Financing Banks and the economy of the place.

It is not the question of 28 floors or 44floors.ICICI either has to use all the space or lease out the extra space created. No body knows how much space ICICI requires for their office here.It is not simply constructing skyscrapers and enjoying the show.It shud be put to use.Its all economics man.

Generally, Indian cities will resist the urge to expand upward, especially if land is not limited. This is because buying more land and expanding horizontally works out cheaper than building vertically. Also, electricity and water are a problem. Very few will risk investing in skyscrapers, which depend heavily on elevators. And guess what? Elevators need electricity, which is unreliable. Unless electricity problem is rectified, building upwards will still be a last resort.

what a relief !!

Great to hear that the building is going to be back to its height.

May be ICICI decided to take every one by surprise and thus kept it as a suspense, not even revealing its renderings.

44 storeys yippee!!!!

Do u have more news that when it is going to be completed (as it is 44 storey now) and any other details like whether they are occupying the entire floors or leasing some amount of floor space to other businesses etc.(while i am of the belief that since initially as it was 28 floors only they were using)
