yes the smaller tiers are starting to go up now and the floor area has been redused. but the floor area is still large

I think it was just a labeling mistake from whomever put those on. I saw and posted on that awhile back where, if you see that Floor 40 is a large double-height mechanical floor, the labels on the shearwalls go from 39 but skip a floor height then you see the 40 tag. Where 40 is placed should read 41 but other than that, 42 and above appear to be correct.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though

THANKS for the pic updates! Great close detail!

level 66 is in core, thus approx 250m. its only 5m lower then SWFC now due to SWFc core being stagnant for 3 weeks now because of reducement of core size.
mighty BurjD should equal SWFc next week .
ill update the BIGfour diagram for sept 1 just to keep everyone uptodate.

250m already? I am a believer.... 100m more before 2007

funny thing is ET hotel is 55 levels with a 300m+ height... what a difference in the floor height

^ i think because first floor on ET is over 60m above grd and higest floor is about 260m. so theres 110m of bldg with no floors.

I certainly wish the best for the city.

Texas, an oil rich part of the United States, had huge inflows of cash during the late 70's and early 80's. Much of that money went into real estate development. The surplus depressed property prices severely. No one wants a repeat of that.

250m already? That is insane. Maybe they should've built Eureka in Melbourne, would've only taken them 6 months.

Is the Burj Dubai as it stands now cracked into the top ten for height in Dubai? Of course the two Emirates towers are taller, the Burj Al Arab, the Rose Rotana, Bright Start, 21st Century, maybe Chelsea, but I'm not sure what other buildings in Dubai are still taller than this one has it stands now.
At the beginning of this year, if there were buildings of it from afar, it was kind of hard to pick it out on the skyline, but now it is starting to dominate.

So as mildly entertaining as this sounds,I wonder when this is going to surpass the current height of the SWFC being the SWFC is kind of on hold.

^it was progressing well until the core had to be reconfigured due to being reduced for upper floors. it should take off again soon. but burjD will eclipse it and may stay infront.

Thanks for the list. Pretty amazing! In several years 250m won't be near the top ten in Dubai...
