USCN- DoSTSR

I would offically like to announce a proposal to build a new department for the USCN:

Please post your offical bids to have this department in your city. This will be decided by the community and will close on a date to be decided by the community. If other nations have objections to this then post and state your reason why then the community will decide as a whole. Thank you.

BIDDING CLOSED

Why Heil?

Heil is a large and prosperous nation of 9.3 million people. we have nearly 3 million people employed in the high tech/ scientific sector, making this the second largest portion of employment and our economy. We have an education system that rivals the best in the world. We also have one of the highest per capita enrolments in post secondary education of any nation.

Our nation boasts a temperate ocean climate and little drastic weather, making it a comfortable place to live and work. Our healthcare system is set up so that everyone who needs care will get it, without costing the government a lot. We encourage healthy lifestyles and involvement in the community through many differnet programs. The best thing about our nation is that the people decide on all laws and all motions of government DIRECTLY. 9.3 million people, 9.3 million voices, One Nation.

Heil is committed to the USCN and feel that we can contribute more to the USCN if we have a major department of the organization in our region. We are proposing 3 sites, and if we win this department, we will select one of them based on community input.

Here are the proposed sites in Heil for the DoSTSR.

Site One: Heil Proper- Site occupied with other project No longer considered
No Image

This site would renovate the National Institute for Scientific Exploration (NISE) into the DoSTSR. The proposal for this sight would include:
- Removing the waste to power plants near by.
- Rerouting the elevated rail underground and putting 3 new stations in place
- Demolishing Nearby Industy to make way for new buildings
- Renovation and expanding the advanced research center
- Establishment of a science center and planetarium for the people
- Upgrading of the observitory.

Downside of the site, near Heil Intercontinetal Airport, thus there is greater noise and pollution then at other sites.

Site 2- Logan Central

This site would involve the construction of a new facility in the heart of LC's high tech industrial belt.

Proposal includes
-Demolition of current occupants of the site
-Construction of the DoSTSR complex
-An high tech industrial park w/ research center
-Greenspace
-New transit stops

Disadvatage of the site is that it is out in the industrial area, a ways out from town, thus is not as people freindly as the other sites.

Site 3- Heil South on Groll Island

Perched on the only island in the Heil Fjord, the Groll Island site provides a uniqe and picturesque place for the future DoSTSR. Minutes from Downtown and the airport this island provides the right mix of user friendlyness, nice work enviroment, and ease of access.

Proposal incudes
-Relocation of the Groll Island Marine Training Base
-Construction of an enviromentally friendly campus to house the DoSTSR
-Preservation of the islands natural heritage.
-Construction of a park and pathway system around the island
-new interchange, ferry terminal, and subway station
-possible construction of the Heil Museum of natural history.

Disadvantage placed in the heart of the banking sector and well way from high tech industry may detract from the location.

That is Heil's bid for the USCN DoSTSR

Why? i though all USCN members were allowed to make proposals for the USCN. This is an open proposal to all nations who want this in their nation. Please reconsider.

Jistisland's economy is based on high tech industry
Jistisland is also leading in clean electric energy production
lots of highly qualified employees.
Also high tech companies are tax-free for 5 years, after the 5 years they got a 5% taxation
Jistisland applies a low-energy price for high tech energy companies so high tech companies with high electricity spendings enjoy Jistisland's energy
also the very cold weather allows companies to save costs in cooling.
Plenty of space for research and big buildings and highly efficient transport.
Jistisland welcomes the high tech industry!

The DoSTR in Schkiyi would be close to good neighborhoods and the modern downtown, allowing its employees to enjoy low commute times and all the benefits of being in a modern city

I think its fair to open it up to all countries, that we we can stick to the USCN democratic principles. I am honoured by the suggestion though.

And it looks like we finally have some competition in this project from Jistisland, very nice.

Please, please, please use a better anagram!!
DoSTSR is hard to use. How about DoSTAR? It isn't the first letter from all the words but that isn't needed and it is easier to say.
