Yes one tunnel actually got build, it's now used for trams. There are actually undergound stations in that part, so you could count it as a metro aswell

I think people where also against it because they wanted to replace the trams with the metro. And what would Zürich be without trams?

Today the building of a light rail in the north of Zürich is done. And a new rail tunnel with 4 new underground tracks under the Main Station.

Hm, here is the map for Frankfurt how it looks today.

But future maps?

The only project I know is the U4 extension from Bockenheimer Warte to Ginnheim.

Miami (finally getting upgraded):

Now:

Main Metrorail line:

Free Metromover lines in Downtown area:

Future Enhancements (construction ready to begin):

The much needed line to Miami Beach was delayed due to NIMBY politics of MB residents not wanting Miami residents having easier access to their island paradise. The Red line to the Airport is to begin shortly followed by the Orange line to Broward (Ft.Lauderdale) and the Green East-West line.

How should mine's be? Existent! But seriously, I'd like to have a smaller version of either Montreal's or Lisbon's. Maybe not as fancy though.

BLUE LINES = Suburban Railways - 9 lines of Commuter trains + 5 lines of Metropolitan trains + Airport Express. All elevated or underground inside the Milano borders. At grade in the metropolitan area.

OTHER COLORS = Subways

[IMG][/IMG]

today there are only Red, Green, Yellow and all the Blue S Lines. and an half part of the Orange and of the Light Green lines.
Brown, Light Blue, Purple, Magenta are my new lines.
