i'm not new to the forum but i'll introduce myself anyway! My name is Amr, and I live in Doha (Dafnah). I am Palestinian-Jordanian, and have lived in Qatar for 12 years now - I will be leaving here in June when I go to England for university, and while things can get a bit slow here sometimes, I will miss the place!

hey everyone , I'm not in Doha at the moment, but I love this subforum, so I dont know if this is ok
I'm 24, I live in Bahrain, and I work in Saudi Arabia. I work in a consultancy firm for strategy and project developments for midsized to large companies. I visit Qatar whenever I get the chance since I have family there (like most Bahraini people). I lived most my life outside the gulf untill about 2 years from now.

Music is what keeps me awake on the saudi-bahraini bridge early in the morning , so I love listening to all kinds of music. I'm not a gym rat, but I like to keep in shape. I love traveling, so I'm blessed I got to see many places all over the world.

Skyscrapercity is a site I check almost ALL the time, I even keep a window open during the whole day at work and at home, to lookout for anything new and interesting

Very good topic iniative!

I'll take a moment to introduce myself too:

I'm 23 years old born and raised in Belgium. Currently I'm finishing my last year of study at the university in Ghent (city in Belgium).
I came in contact with Qatar when I was doing my internship with a Belgian construction company as a civil engineer this summer. The company is Jan De Nul and the project consists of the extension of Ras Laffan port. A major and incredible site!
I had a very good time in Qatar though it was hard working. The restaurants and food were really good. Also the night-life on thursday was a success, however I'm used to party more in Belgium ;-) Nowadays I'm still interested in the further development of Doha and environment and that's why I'm passing by sometimes :-)
