What I also love about Atlanta is all that green....although I love our Royal Palms and Coconut Palms...I wish the city of Miami will get more Oaks and more trees instead of Palms. That's the only thing that I miss from living in Raleigh, NC...all that green...pine trees, oaks...lots of trees.

While I like Buckhead's skyline, I hate the fact that there are far too many glassy blue towers. It needs more variety.

I like the way Buckhead looks. If one has never been to Atlanta and doesn't know how big it actually is (if they are going down 85) they will think it is downtown/midtown.

Some of the buildings in Buckhead look like they could be in Dubai. They are very modern

The southern part of Buckhead isn't as glassy as the core.

Apparently, many people agree with you. I was surprised with where Atlanta placed on this list.

Chris, if I'm not mistaken it is open now.

I'm really going to miss my native Atlanta when I relocate to Washington D.C. in October 2010.

I know Washington is a beautiful city, but Atlanta has been my home all my life and I will hate having to say goodbye to this majestic city of trees.

Is it safe to assume Buckhead is also experiencing the massive glut of empty office space the rest of Metro Atlanta currently has?

Atlanta is nice, but DC is way better. DC is very green too. Atl's only advantage is that it's much cheaper.

Also, DC is a three hour train ride to NY and an hour and a half to Philly.

And that it relies more on private enterprise and much less on the federal government for its prosperity.

And as much as I truly love DC (may even move there one day), Atlanta's cost advantage is a really big one.

What are the heights of the three tallest buildings in this last photo?
