Because palaces typically are built for monarchies and titled-nobility.

None exists in North America.

Well now, the selction shown is obviously fantastic, but I doubt that any country has the best palaces in Europe and if I had to choose one, it would probably be Germany becuase of its size and because there were many German sovereigns who needed palaces built.

I think than french and portuguese palaces are more beautiful
