As you may already know, I have been chosen as the new moderator for the new Western Canada forums: Prairie Provinces Forum and British Columbia Forum.

I have moved all of the old Western Canada forum topics to their respected geographical forums, Prairies and BC, and if you have not already noticed the Western Canada forum is gone. The North America and Canadian moderators felt that the Prairie Provinces and British Columbia deserve their own forum.

In addition, I have uniformly renamed and pinned main proposal/development/construction topics of the major cities in the West (I think it looks more organized and attractive for newcomers) and I have also pinned the topics of major construction projects (e.g. Encana, Vancouver 2010, Canada Line). The Vancouver picture topic has also been pinned and I hope more similar topics for other western cities will arise so I can do the same.

My main goal is to get more discussion going on here. Over the past year, I've noticed quite a drop in discussion going on and hopefully together we'll be able to change that around.

That's all I have to say for now.....hopefully these forums will grow into an online community in time.
