Yes but thankfully in Minneapolis the transition isn't hideous. If the area was scarce of trees then it'd look pretty ugly.

I love that shot Major Deegan.

This has moved up to my 4th favourite US skyline.

1. New York
2. Chicago
3. Los Angeles
4. Minneapolis

5. Seattle
6. San Francisco
7. Philadelphia
8. Pittsburgh

Sorry, but I couldn't agree more. Seattle is a skyline that contends with anything that comes after NYC, Chicago, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. To put Minneapolis in front of it is borderline insanity. I still love the Twin Cities, but they can never beat Seattle.

Seattle's is bigger, but I prefer the Minneapolis skyline. Minneapolis has 2 of my favourite buildings in the United States. So you're trying to tell me that I don't actually like what I like?

In all fairness, can you really call them mid sized? Minneapolis has 3.3 million people; that's about the same size as Athens.

The Minneapolis-St Paul Metropolitan area which covers two states is 3.3 million, Minneapolis itself has 383,000 people and Hennepin County has 1.15 million.

Anyways, I just love the Capella Tower.. one of my favorites skyscrapers here in the US.
