The first few levels of the east fall are embarrassing. At least pop some windows over those gray gaps. It's too bad the original proposal isn't being built. The double set back would have been great, especially if illuminated at night.

Oh yeah.. it's really starting to pick itself up.
Now the only thing wrong with that picture is that abysmal BMO podium. |

Hmm, I don't know if I like how this is turning out. Maybe it's just at an awkward growth stage and will look better when it's done.
BA is lookin great though! All reflective and shiny. |

This is urban planning booboo, two towers blocking each other. What a waste of concrete and steel.

I love how Trump said in his video about this tower that it 'Overlooks everything'. Not if youre facing Bay Adelaide. Then you get to just watch some dudes working at their desk.

Wonderful. Hopefully, many other areas of the city can one day attain density like this. Fabulous planning, efficient use of space, and I love how you have to strain your neck up from the street to see the building. Absolutely awesome!

Those are some pretty stunning photos.. the density is AMAZING!!

Well, any densely built area of highrises in the world (Hong Kong, New York, etc.....) have towers "blocking" each other. I don't see why that is an urban planning boo boo..

That's what I love about going to NYC, you don't see half of the great architecture unless you get out and explore. It would take the fun out of it if you had all your buildings lined up in a row so you could view them from one vantage point. Each time in NYC you turn a corner you see another great tower that is hidden from view from many angles.
This is where I stayed on my last trip, terrible view but we were surrounded by cool buildings. It's a bit like walking through an art gallery seeing new pieces around each corner. I hope Toronto achieves that one day. image hosted on flickr ![]() http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1040/...783d3ce0_o.jpg

That's why New York traffic was considered the worst in the world. Even New York is not as well planed as some of the new cities being constructed. To late for New York though, it's sinking and investors are going to stay away. But good for Toronto because we can reinvent ourselves and pick up those people who are looking to invest in North America.
