There is a large Hungarian minority in Slovakia, about half million, 10% of Slovak population. What do you think in Hungary about "felvidék" (upper region of Hungarian empire, known as Slovak republic). Recently I read in Newspaper that some problems in living together appeared. Some not very friendly behaviour between our two countries.

Glad to see two new Hungarians on the forum! Sziasztok srácok!
![]() About the problems between Hungary and Slovakia, eliminate the anti-hungarian party from the Slovakian partliament, and case is solved. But anyways our ministers are on the diplomatic way, and hopefully things will get better. To be honest both sides are to be blamed, but this is really very low and primitive... I like Slovakia a lot, and i'm sure most Slovakian feel the same way about my country. |

Why dont we talk about and show the world some of Hungary's beauties? Or developments, constructions and infrastructure?

There were several Budapest threads by me, maybe they can be still accessed.. But i support you. Which developement do you think is worth to get a topic now? We dont have renders of the Moszkva tér reconstruction. I have posted info and photos of the new underground line before. Also the images of the upcoming motorways, but we could make a thread of the Hungarian Motorways in general, because imho we are quite good in that... At least compared to EE.
Qtya, do you maybe have renders or more information about the "Hungarian Las Vegas"? The gambling and hotel complex that is going to be built on the Hajógyári island.. |

I use my ftp to upload photos, but there are free image host servers, like http://imageshack.us/ , you upload a photo here, then copy the url they give, and then put it in the middle of this: [ img]http://imageshack.us/fdsgsdgsd.jpg[ /img] ,but dont leave room before the img tag and the /img tag like i did now.

This was the information you were searching for, or something else, more concrete about the development? Last edited by Qtya; September 1st, 2006 at 02:54 PM. |

These photos that I've shot recently are about the viaduct built at Köröshegy on the M7 motorway/highway. With its 1872 meters lengh this viaduct will be the longest in Central Europe. 23,80 meters wide and the longest pillar will be 80 meters tall when its finished.
