Many years ago I heard that a Chinese construction company is helping Algeria built an airport is this the one?

yes el tico ya enough of place to build new an air terminal and it surment will do it in 2010. (looks at the photographs of the whole of the site) its really one of most beautiful the airport than ja ue has visit.

Thanks for the website misterdz. They say Chinese airlines are interested in flying to Algeria, and Air Algérie might start service to Canada. That's good news for the airport.

Nice beautiful, small airport. But does a country like Algeria need such an airport ? I do not think it has a large tourism industry like say, Tunisia.

this airport waited since of the years!!! tourism and buisness develope very quickly. The old too small airport, and badly represented the image of Algiers which and large a modern capital which quickly increased
