Gilgamesh's Tehran Photos - 2006

Here are some of the photos I took in Iran this year. These photos are mostly from Tehran, Hamadan and a few small cities and various landscapes in Tehran, Markazi, Hamadan and Lorestan provinces. The photos differ in quality for various reasons... I dunno how long before i have uploaded all, they are to many.

Shahrake Gharb neighbourhood

Built as a massive project of apartment buildings, Shahrake Gharb ("the west town") has now expanded to a whole district and is the only district in Tehran that complies with international standards for new and modern cities easy access to expressways, proximity to hospitals etc

Shemiran - A district in north with several neighborhoods. Infact this is what is known as "wealthy north Tehran" lol. The place used to be a village close to Tehran before it became incorporated in the city, as a result many of it's neighbourhood lack basic neccesities like proper side walks where you can walk freely without walking into a trees.

But it seems half of them turn up with a red EX and i cant see most of them...please fix them dadashii...

Grrreat pics Aryan... I see you took my reccomendation to go to Bagh-e Behesht restaurant in Darband.. sweet place no? I usually go in winter and its all snowy there with gas heaters all over the place.. its a really nice atmosphere
