Great updates! I was in the Desert Breeze Park area a couple of days ago and noticed that the main hotel tower is starting to look more prominent in relation to the other hotels in the area. It's good to see that there is no longer a big gap between the Monte Carlo and Bellagio.

Agreed, I can also easily see the main tower from the southwest corner now too.

Nice shot!

Gotta love the desert's monsoon season for impressive cloud backdrops.

I do hope they will build the monorail, since the city hasn't got a good transportation sistem (and the city should start to think about it)

anyone know how fast this monorail will go? will it be like the maglev or just a train. if the U.S. finally got one it would be sweet.

Just like a regular monorail, its only going around the site. So theres no point in it going 200mph.

I've always wanted to do this with the citycenter webcam but forgot about it after the webcam stopped updating the image. Now that it's back and I have a new image, I made a gif.

Updated - the new gifs have the sun in around the same place, much better to see.

The first photo is in march 2007, and 2nd is today so that's 5 months about.

This 2nd view is from the polo cam, which gives a side view.

That's way cool! If you focus your eye on a fixed object you can see that it's lined up real good. Try to update that every few months if you can.

Sure, that's the cool thing about fixed webcam shots, making time lapses. If anyone had any doubts about how fast Vegas construction is, here's the proof

Been kind of out of the loop, but is MGM MIRAGE still planning on building the other condo towers near the I-15 as they were in the original concept?

Anyway great pictures of the progress, this truly is a massive complex and it will redefine Las Vegas.
